in most states, you cannot buy a vehicle until you are 18. you can provide the money, but it would have to be in a parent’s name. as for the cost of insurance, it depends on the make and model and year of the vehicle. a newer vehicle will be more expensive due to the additional coverages you would want such as comprehensive and collision as well as liability. if an older vehicle, it may be too expensive to purchase collision and/or comprehensive so you would just get liability. rates will vary from company to company with some being cheaper than others. also, if you have drivers education you can get a discount on liability, as well as for drug education, and multi-car discounts on your parent’s insurance.
rather than buying a seperate policy, get it on your parents policy and you will be rated on their vehicle so you can drive it as well, though you inform the insurance company that you have a seperate vehicle that you will drive.
don’t buy a car just to learn to be a better driver, but so you will have your own car. driving it will give you the advantage of getting more experience as well as provide you seperate transportation.

unfortunately including your link in facebook will only succeed to increase web traffic to your site but not increase your page rank… as most social sites have no follow tags…..though there are some that do follow.. here is a list

also.. seeing htat your aim is to increase backlinks to your site.. download seo quake… it is a browser plugin for IE or firefox.. it has a option to show which sites have dofollow tags and sites which have nofollow tags.. highly recommended for building your page rank and search engine ranking position

There are some social networks which will help your PR because they have not made the links on their sites nofollow. Linked In Q&A articles, Yahoo Answers and You Tube frequently show up in Google’s SERP’s so it is worth the time to develop company profiles on Linked In and You Tube. Facebook is questionable depending on your target demographic. Though most of the popular social networking sites won’t help you with SEO to your site, they could rank themselves in the top 10 results, driving traffic and increasing your shelf space, so not a waste of time to use them.

Advertising on social networking sites is a phenominal idea to help promote your service/product/website. I guarantee that you will find thousands of people that are interested in whatever your niche is.

As far as helping rankings and inbound link totals, I don’t think it will help too much. Take facebook for instance. In order to view the page you need to be signed in and in some cases a member of the same network. I also believe that most links on facebook would be ‘no follow’.

Therefore, while social networking sites will probably not help your pagerank or backlinks any, they will definitely help drive loads of targetted traffic to your site.
